Client: D'Arcy McGee Chair of Irish
Studies, Saint Mary's University (Halifax, NS). - book cover design
(inside and outside covers). The story of Irish
famine orphans in Saint John, New Brunswick. The 1847 leather-bound ledger
from the "Orphan Asylum", from which much of the
book's data and text originated, also inspired the cover design. The
leather ledger cover and some of the original handwritten entries were
digitally scanned and incorporated into the book cover design.
