4 Easy Steps from Start
to Finish . . .

We begin with an initial
consultation (in person or by phone) to get a feel for the type of visual identity that would be most
appropriate for your business. We consider your target market, corporate
image, competitors, as well as your ideas and vision. We work with you to come
up with a logo idea that expresses your company's image as closely as
possible.

A
set of 5-7 initial conceptual drafts are created and sent to you via e-mail
for your feedback and input. We want to know what you like about these
first-round designs, what you dislike, and what you would like to see in the
next version.

We then create a second round of logos combining your
favourite
elements (ie. images, fonts, colours) from the initial drafts. With each
version of the logo we generate and each change we make, we attempt to create
exactly what you are looking for. It usually only takes a couple of revisions
from the first design set to finalize a logo that you like.

Your finished logo will be sent to you via e-mail upon
final approval from you. We provide the finished product to you in two
digital formats:

low resolution for email/web purposes, and
-
high
resolution for printed promotional materials
(ie. brochures, business cards,
letterhead, posters, print advertising).
The
importance of colour and font selection:
Colour
psychology plays a huge role in logo
creation, as different colours evoke
certain images, mood, emotion, and overall attitude. We select colour
combinations based on your preferences and well-established studies of how
colour affects both our conscious and unconscious thoughts and reactions. We
want your target market to respond favourably to the colours in your
logo.
For example: If you want your clients to feel
or desire a sense of calmness when they see
your health spa logo, we won't use RED (an
extreme and emotionally intense colour invoking excitement, urgency, action,
adventure, love, and passion).
However, since red prompts people to 'action',
we might use it for a Buy Me Now
button on your web
site!!
Font selection
is also
an important aspect to any design project. We
have a library of over 1,000 fonts from which to choose. Again, we consider
your target market as well as the type of
business your logo is reflecting when selecting fonts.

For example: If your business is a hip-hop dance club catering to a target market
of trendy 20-somethings, we would not use a "formal traditional" font in your logo...
we would select a font from "informal and fun" or "trendy"
to capture your target audience's attention.
